We are asked all sorts of questions about ProjectMantra, here are a few of the more common ones. If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact us.
 
Can a User have Access/be Assigned to More than One Project?
Yes, a user may be assigned to any or all of the projects in the company. If you want to add several users to one project, this is best done from within the Project Setup page and can be achieved by either Managers or Administrators. If you want to add a user to several projects, for example when creating a new user, this is best done from the User Setup page, which is only available to an Administrator.
 
 
Where is the Site Hosted?
ProjectMantra is hosted on a dedicated server located in Lumison's purpose built, state of the art data centre at Newbridge on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
 
 
Do you have an Uptime Guarantee or any Reassuring Comments?
The Internet isn't perfect! We cannot offer 100% guarantee but expect a minimum of 99% uptime.
 
 
Can Team Members of a Project have Differentiated Access Rights like Managing the Project, Adding a Task, Changing a Task, Deleting a Task?
The permissions model in ProjectMantra has deliberately kept simple to avoid confusion and/or complicated configuration. Team members are not allowed to alter project details – this is reserved for Managers, although only Managers that are members of the project have this ability. Administrators have full access.
 
 
What is the Best Screen Resolution to Use?
The design of the system is based on 1024 x 768 this provides the optimum screen for viewing.
 
 
Can I Integrate with my Accounting Package?
ProjectMantra has a module to provide integration with SAGE accounting packages. Please contact us to discuss integration with other packages.
 
Where does the Name ProjectMantra come from?
The word "Mantra" is commonly used to describe any saying or belief that is regularly repeated. Most Project Managers know that “Cost, Cost, Cost” is one of the main constraints of any project - and that is what ProjectMantra is based on - the belief that cost control is essential for any project.
