ProjectMantra Features
ProjectMantra fills the gap between project planning and your accounts system, a gap often filled by in-house spreadsheets. Now you don't have to re-invent the wheel - ProjectMantra has been developed by a team with over 100 man years of combined experience in project work, so that the information you need to run your projects is already there. It's easy to use and available anywhere. Look at the features below and compare them to how you currently work. Team Members can Easily Record Time, Mileage and Expenses Against Different Projects.
Team members are only presented with information that is relevant to them, making the interface very user friendly and reducing data entry errors.

Generates Employee Expense Claims and Customer Project Chargesheets.
ProjectMantra provides both Customer Timesheets (time only) and Customer Chargesheets (including costs for labour, materials and expenses) for those projects where billing has to be accompanied by customer signed evidence.

Separates Internal Costs from Selling Price.
ProjectMantra supports different charge-in and charge-out costs across individuals and projects for both labour and non-labour costs, and allows items to be recorded as non-chargeable.

Separates Quotations, Chargeable Projects, Internal Projects and Completed Jobs.
ProjectMantra supports the full project lifecycle from the initial estimation of a project through to project completion.

Allows Project Managers to Easily Define Project Tasks, Labour Rates and Budgets.
Project Managers control project access for the team members and can make individual tasks active or inactive, not only to make it easier for the team members to enter data, but also to ensure that time and costs don’t get booked to the wrong tasks by the wrong people.

Provides Management Reports for Project Performance and Employee Utilisation.
While a project is live, managers can revise the initial allocation of both labour and non-labour estimates for the project, but still keeping the initial baseline. Project reports analyse the project position showing costs to date and estimated costs to completion based on the revised estimates.

Supports Ad-hoc Drilldown into Project Detail by Task, Date or Employee.
All data in ProjectMantra is held in a single live database ensuring all entries are reflected immediately in all reports. ProjectMantra enables you to answer questions such as “How much has been spent on Project X so far this month?” or “What did Person Y work on last week?”

Supports a “Whole Company” Approach.
By defining projects and tasks for non-chargeable activities such as sales, training, sickness, holidays, etc., ProjectMantra can provide reports that summarise the entire company’s labour utilisation and performance.

Password Protection with 3 Roles; Team Member, Manager and Administrator.
The “Team member” role provides a simple and easy to use interface to record time, expenses and mileage against pre-defined projects and tasks. Team members only have access to information they have entered, and can print off various reports summarising their time, expenses and mileage, filtered by date and project as required.

The “Manager” role provides the ability to create and modify projects, tasks, suppliers, customers and team members in those projects assigned to them. Managers can also allocate materials against projects as well as record any invoices that have been raised. A manager has access to all project information and can if necessary alter the individual entries of any team member. Available reports include overall summaries, individual project summaries and the ability to drill down into data by project, team member, date or any combination of these filters.

The “Administrator” role includes all the functionality of the Manager role, as well as the ability to change the role allocated to a team member, reset passwords and set certain global configuration settings, such as the logo to be used on reports.
